I don't know. What do you think it means?
Unless it is taken metaphorically, it has meaning only as a hypothesis anyway, since we don't "fly through time" like in a machine. Could mean our journeys through life, however, but once again, I am interested to know what you think about the quote?

After further thought, I think it means you are seeing yourself coming at you like in a mirror and if you make eye contact, you might crash!  I guess you'd crash anyway if it really was a mirror.
