I think what you are saying is people do not fulfil their purpose/destiny alone. It's only as a couple that people can blossom like flowers that require light and water. People require the OPPOSITE sex (which fits perfectly physically, as it was built to do [Adam/Eve]).
So people are valuable alone, but IMHO they just can't be AS valuable as possible that way. Re: "Two heads are better than one," if one reference is aplenty.
Am I close? Of course, there are always going to be exceptions to every rule, because I am one, I've never been married, which is exceptional at my age. If I ever could be married, I am convinced I would truly be a better person. We are not meant to be alone, reference literature of all ages.

Another quote popped up this morning, that pertains to our topic.
Communication
It is good to rub and polish our brain against that of others.

| i don't think that would be a good idea, because then someone gets angry like mankind always does and either takes it or destroys it.

Good point. That brings up the age-old question, is it better to trust everyone and get burned occasionally, or trust no one, and lose any possible gain from those who deserve our trust? Not everyone feels the same way about this question.
We've all been burned, and had our trust violated. Some more than others. I firmly believe we must keep on trusting, and forgiving and forgetting. Remember, if you remember the offense, you have not totally forgiven it. To forgive means to forget.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
